  • Note:The BT and DT in agitated water at the respective temperatures shown are listed for VF-S.
  • Note:Test method: The four sides of film are secured to a 6cm square frame with a 3cm square hollowed out at the center. It is immersed in water, which is continually agitated, and the amount of time it takes to start breaking apart and the amount of time to dissolve completely is measured.
  • Note:The amount of time it takes for film to dissolve is proportional to the thickness squared under the same testing conditions.

Unit-Packaging of Agricultural Chemicals (Water-Soluble POVAL FILM)

In Japan, Water-soluble POVAL FILM is used as packaging for so-called "jumbo formulations" in which packaged herbicide granules are thrown directly into rice paddies. Overseas, it is widely used as packaging for wettable powders, such as insecticides and disinfectants.
