Support people in disaster-affected areas to get back on their feet

Economic support will be provided to respond to emerging new support needs in catastrophic disaster-stricken areas as they transition from an initial response phase to a recovery phase.

The disaster-stricken areas in this phase are at a particularly important stage for the true recovery from a disaster, although it is difficult to obtain physical and mental support from around the world as much as in the early phase due to the calming of press coverage and the decline in the public interest. Therefore, efforts will be made to aim for support specializing in this phase.
