ISOBAM Isobutylene Polymer
ISOBAM is an alkaline hydrosoluble copolymer of isobutylene and maleic anhydride. In the form of powder, ISOBAM reacts with such chemicals as sodium hydrate, ammonia and amine to be used as an aqueous solution. When reacting with alcohol, amine or epoxy compound, ISOBAM is a diverse functional material that can be used for the modification of resin and plastic.
