Dental materials and treatment have traditionally had an image of performing restorative treatment with metal. At Kuraray Medical, we have taken advantage of the company's polymer technology in restoring teeth with better aesthetics with no difference to the patients' natural teeth. Through this, we hope patients will be able to show off their restorations with no feeling of self-consciousness. In terms of functional aspects of this restorative treatment, our ongoing efforts to meet the needs patients is part of our attempts to introduce new technology. This is reflected in our aim of developing an entirely new field of dentistry.
<CREARFIL>Series
In 1978 Kuraray first developed a bonding agent for composite resin fillings. This provided dentists with an ease-of-use product and contributed to improved reliability in use of filling material as well as offering the ability to coordinate colors with treated teeth in order to meet patients' needs. This led to our company gaining the leading share of the Japanese market for composite resin fillings, as well as enhancing its reputation for developing new and original products and introducing them to the European and North American markets.
<PANAVIA>Series
This product is an adhesive resin cement that uses Kuraray Medical's unique adhesive monomer, MDP. Since its inception in 1983, we have continued to make improvements to this material in response to changing market needs and demands. Combining fluoride releasing properties and outstanding adhesiveness, we are continuing to make advances in the development of this product.
